About Donna Schultz

Donna Schultz

Donna Schultz and her husband Chuck served God for many years in the area of outreach to the poor and homeless on the east side of Detroit, Michigan. God began to show Donna that no matter how much physical help was given, without God’s Word there was no lasting impact. It was like putting a band aid on a broken arm. Life change must begin on the inside. As Donna’s love for God’s Word grew, the burden on her heart for others to know, love and apply that Word grew as well. She began to teach Bible studies and classes on going from a life of personal crisis to a life of personal progress to low income people.

Donna believes that she was given a mandate from God in Jeremiah 15:19 to “speak worthy not worthless words” and God would allow her to be His spokesman. God has placed a call on Donna’s life to teach the Word of God in a practical way that can be easily put into practice in our daily lives.

Donna has an inspiring testimony of how the power of God can transform a person’s life. Having been raised in a dysfunctional home, where anger and alcoholism were the norm, and being a victim of verbal and emotional abuse, she has suffered the damaging effects of rejection, low self-esteem, self-destructive behavior and sin. Having struggled with many other issues over the course of her lifetime, Donna is able to relate to the problems that others face. Using the Word of God as the only guide, she teaches how the power of God, inherent in His Word, can make us all overcomers. Donna is a living testimony of God’s grace, mercy and redemptive work. Believing that God is no respecter of persons, Donna knows that if God transformed her life, He can do it for anyone.

Donna is the author of an e-mail devotional called “Tuesday’s with Jesus”. Donna and her husband, Chuck, have been married for eighteen years. They have six children, and one grandchild. Donna and Chuck attend Hope Community Church in Detroit, where Donna is a Bible teacher and Head of Women's Ministries.
